What is palm-pressed mesocarp fibre (ppmf)?
At the same time, 14.55 million tonnes of palm-pressed mesocarp fibre (PPMF) were generated. PPMF is a by-product produced from the extraction of oil palm FFB in palm oil mills which contains 5% to 7% residual oil (on a dry weight basis) or 0.3% to 0.5% in terms of oil extraction rate.
