Crude palm kernel oil (CPKO) is vegetable oil obtained from the inner part of palm fruit without bleaching or refining process . Using CPKO as raw material for the production of biofuel certainly helps improve the economic performance of the process.
How is cpko produced?
It is estimated that CPKO is produced at a ratio of 10 to13 t for ev ry 100 t of production of crude palm oil (Basiron, 2005).
