Can degumming & dewaxing be used for rice bran oil refining?
A new process for the physical refining of rice bran oil through combined degumming and dewaxing was developed on a laboratory scale and then demonstrated on a commercial scale.
What is a dewaxing process?
The modern dewaxing process using endogenous wax ester hydrolyses (wax desynthetase) activation in optimal reaction conditions provides an efficient, specific and targeted affinity destructuration process orientated towards the wax substrate in order to develop the depparafinage effect.

How does degumming & dewaxing a crude oil work?
